Our Artisan Ice Cream
We bring a contemporary twist to good old-fashioned American-style ice cream: creamy, full of flavour, sometimes with inclusions and sometimes simply pure.
But we have a few rules - Jefferson’s laws if you like. First, the milk must be the best, so it’s organic, every time. Second the ingredients must be natural, always. And if our ice cream has colour to it, it comes from nature - never artificial food colourings.
It must of course be delicious, which comes from a never-ending research of flavours, fabulous ingredients, tasting, tweaking and more tasting (it’s a hard life this ice cream making). Finally, we make it daily in small batches in our Brixton kitchen.
So that’s organic milk, natural ingredients, delicious flavours - made daily in small batches, with lots of love. Surely the only way ice cream should ever be made?

DAIRY
Cottleswold Dairy is an independent, family dairy producing milk since 1938. They are committed to animal health and welfare, with all farmers holding Red Tractor Certification. Cows graze naturally on a diet of grass and clover, and choose when they would like to be milked, when they want to feed and for how long they rest. Oh to be a Cottleswold Dairy cow.

Finest Belgian CHOCOLATE
Callebaut has been making chocolate since 1911. Their Cocoa Horizons programme supports cocoa farmers through coaching, access to quality farm inputs and labour support, making farming more sustainable both financially and environmentally. Cocoa Horizons also promotes agroforestry and forest restoration to strengthen ecosystems and help counter deforestation.
