Founders Christopher and Celine had lived in Balham since 2002, so when they opened their first store in 2019 it was a natural choice. Convenience was far from the driving reason however – although walking 400 yards to work was certainly great! It was an area they loved and knew so well, a place with a mix of all age groups and families, and a great food scene with a community that they believed would embrace what they set out to build.
Jefferson’s is a place where people of all ages can come day and night to enjoy each other’s company in a relaxing and timeless environment, while enjoying the glorious desserts, waffles, drinks and of course our completely natural ice cream.

After a long day walking around the city centre it was a treat to finish the day with ice cream here. Absolutely scrumptious. Will definitely return and try an ice cream sandwich or a waffle.
Serves coffee, tea and hot chocolate as well. Salted caramel, vanilla and rocket road plus the Malteser flavour all to die for! Definitely go and treat yourself.

One of my favourite ever places for sweet treats! So many delicious options- personal favourite are the waffles which are just amazing. You can taste the quality of the ice cream and I love that they introduce seasonal specials to the menu. I’ve been a number of times and each visit has been amazing- from the desserts to the lovely staff. Highly recommend these guys!!

I happened to stumble across this beautiful shop, intrigued I went in. I was meet by the friendly team, Eddie, and the warm and welcoming environment. I brought my family here and I have to say we were really blown away by customer service. The ice creams are amazing and were so creamy, we really enjoyed our desserts and we will be coming back very soon. You have to try it!
